How To Connect Your Empower Network Blog To Your Personal Blog Without Destroying Your SEO

Do you have your own personal blog but don’t see Empower Network’s Blog as a use for you? Are you currently in Empower Network and you want to learn how to utilize your personal blog too? Then, you are in the right place!!

I had a dilemma when it came to having my own personal blog and an Empower Network blog at the same time. I didn’t want to pick and choose which blog to post to whenever I felt like blogging. It was too confusing. At one point, I would just post on my personal blog and neglect my Empower Network blog. I did some research on this. I found that having duplicate content can mess up your SEO with Google. The good new is, I found a solution to that to help you post on both blog posts without it affecting your SEO. But first, I’m going to show you how to link your personal blog to your Empower Network blog. Check out Tracey Walker‘s video below!

I hope the video was beneficial. It is pretty cut and dry.

How To Use Canonicalization

This will allow you to connect your Empower Network Blog to your personal blog without destroying your SEO.

On your personal or regular blog, login to the WordPress Dashboard and hover over “Plugins” on the left sidebar. Choose “Add New.” In the search box, type “WordPress SEO by Yoast.” Click “Install Now.” Once it finishes installing, choose “Activate Plugin.”

The WordPress SEO Plugin is now installed. Upon installation and activation, the plugin inserts the canonicalization code automatically! So basically that is all you have to do!

I hope this brief tutorial was beneficial and I hope it helps to relieve any headaches when it comes to managing two blogs.

Make it a great day!
