I’m not a millionaire, but I’m on my way to being one. To keep myself focused, I continue to study what the rich people do. Sometimes I have to remind myself and reread a few things to make sure that I am on the right track. I want to you to join this journey as well. That’s why I want you to take note of the reasons you aren’t a millionaire. Don’t give up hope!
1. You’re Not Your Own Boss
It took some time to figure this out. This is what I have learned from millionaires, your job is not designed to make you rich. It’s only designed for you to just to get by. That’s why J.O.B. stands for Just Over Broke. While you are working a job, in the meantime, start a business on the side and work on it part time. Like Jim Rohn used to say, “You start off by working Full Time on your job and Part Time on your fortune.”

2. You Avoid Taking Risks
I have heard the saying, “high risk, high reward.” When it comes to becoming a millionaire, you have to be risky. It’s very unlikely for you to become a millionaire and you are afraid to take risks. Be courageous, and learn from any mistakes made. That’s what makes you stronger.
3. You Never Act On You Good Ideas
This goes along with procrastination. I have been told that money is an idea. I know that there have been times when I have thought of brilliant ideas, but I was too slow to act on them or I wouldn’t act at all. The key to this whole thing is to have faith. Plus, faith without works is dead so take action!
4. You Don’t Manage Your Money Wisely
This is a core principle to making a million dollars. You have to learn how to manage what you have so you will not blow it all whenever you reach millionaire status.
5. You Don’t Set Clear Goals For Yourself
You need to be clear on what you are trying to do. I would consider taking some time out to think about the exact amount of money you want and why. It’s important to be clear so that you will know where you are going.
6. You Don’t Put In Enough Time, Effort or Energy
Remember when I said, “faith without works is dead?” Well you need to put in some work to achieve the results you are looking for. It’s going to take you some time and effort to reach a millionaire status.
7. You Aren’t Networking With The Right People
I have been told, “Your network determines your net worth.” It is highly critical for you to get around like minded people. It is beneficial to develop relationships with people who are where you want to be. You can start by using social media groups or even attend events where these people hang out at.
The more you network and be around millionaires, your chances improve on you reaching millionaire status.

8. You Worry About What Other People Think About You
I struggle with this from time to time. Many people have been told that it is not good to be rich. They have also been told that rich people are mean or jerks. In fact, this is not true. Whenever you are on this journey, it is wise not to be concerned about what other people think about you. The reality is, whether you’re doing good or bad, other people will still have something to say. So keep pushing along!
